On Saturday, Gary, Michael and I will be getting an early train to Kitchener to start the Butter Tart Express (née BT 700).

This route is probably Ontario’s most well known and popular bikepacking outing, and its pretty surprising that we are just now getting around to it. Truth be told, its not exactly a bucket list for any of us, more like a check it off the list, but its a week on a bike so exciting nonetheless.
By itself, its just shy of 800 km, but if we decide to ride home from it (likely) that’ll add 100 km. We expect to be out there for 8 days.
I have been (still am) waffling on whether to maintain this here blog, but by writing this intro it appears as though I’m committing. Entries will probably be brief as I will have friends to keep my company and also to entertain with my characterfullness ;).
Stay tuned.
Safe travels. Looking forward to your blog!
You guys will crush it, and I’m sure a few of the tarts themselves. I hope you keep the blog going, though I’m sure it can be a pain at times. It’s one of my favourite reads!
